Some people, including many who purport to believe, come up with all sorts of reasons why they don’t go to church. The following prose about sums it up.
- I was forced to wash as a child and I didn’t like it.
- People who wash are hypocrites; they think they’re cleaner than everyone else.
- There are so many different kinds of soap I can’t decide which one to choose.
- I used to wash but then I got bored so I stopped doing it.
- I only wash on special occasions, like weddings, Christmas and Easter.
- None of my friends wash.
- I reckon I will start washing when I get a bit older – and dirtier!
- I don’t have time to wash.
- The bathroom is never the right temperature; it’s never warm enough in the winter or cool enough in the summer.
- The people who make the soap are only after your money!
